Gardener's nightmare

No, not a bad dream but sad reality. Every morning I go to my garden and see sunflowers without leaves, half eaten cucumbers, and I know who is guilty. Slugs!
I've tried everything... Special anty-slugs pellets, charcole, I even cooked red pepper with garlic and sprayed my plants with stinky water... Nope, slugs are not scared at all. It's not a battle any more, it's a war! Slugs, I'm kind person, so I'm warning you! You have time till tomorrow!

T-shirts again:) once I've done one for my husband, my son asked me for one for him, then my daughter asked me for one for her... Two days later everyone is happy with the final results:

Summer holidays

My favourite part of the year... Summer holidays! As long as the weather is nice, there is so many things we can do with kids. But what to do when it starts raining?
I have an idea.
You need:
- different size plastic bottles,
- air drying clay ( you can buy it in most of the shops with arts and crafts accessories),
-glue gun,
-kitchen foil,
-paints.

Let's say we're making a castle. With glue gun stick plastic bottles. Glue is hot so your kid might need some help with it. When it's dry, start adding kitchen foil with any shape you like:

Start covering you castle with white clay - take small pieces and spread it, it dries really quick:)

You can smooth it with some water, just careful, not too much!

When it dries, start painting:

I also put some lights inside, looks amazing at night.
It's really easy, good fun with kids, and the best thing is that you can make whatever you like!

Discovery

No, it's not a post about program in telly. I've just been looking at some old pictures and came across something, what reminded me, how all my painting started. Except couple of fridge magnets, I've been challenged by my parents... They had a washing machine with some funny yellow marks, which came out on the front and nothing was able to remove it. When I visited them, they had special paints ready, all I had to do, was create a picture covering marks...

Poppies

Special painting for special person... Bit of challenge, as poppies are so delicate in nature, I was worried it's not possible to paint them. But the final effect is not bad at all...

Something from nothing

This is my receipt, how to make something from nothing...
Ingredients:
- Couple pieces of wood ( I found them in my friend's garden)
- Sander ( to take off all paint from wood and make wood smooth)
- Undercoat ( to paint your wood which allows another layer of paint to stick in nicely)
- Paints - colour depends on what picture you're planning to paint
- Driller, string - to connect your wood.
- I also needed my husband to make holes in wood and set up my picture on the wall... If you don't have husband or boyfriend, ask your neighbour or do it yourself! I'm sure you can!

Sulkowice - magical place

Once upon a time, in a far land, there was a house on a rock...
To be fair, it's not so far and the place does egsist. In the deep forest, with the view on mountains, away from cars and noise, with only one local shop around you can spend amazing time in a wooden house. Singing birds in the morning, campfire in the evening... What else do you need? It's my favourite place to relax. This year I'm coming back there again, with a little gift for owners...

Save the world!

Very hot subject... Recycling, pollution, climat changes... Plastic straws has been banned, and even if I hate when my paper straw is disgusting after spending 10 minutes inside my drink - I still agree it's a good idea.
The Pacific nation of Vanuatu went even further... They banned disposable diapers... I know... Hard to imagine life without it, but they showed the world, it's possible.
Plastic bags... We need to pay charge for them at each shop... But thenll most of us still throw them away, so why don't you invest your money in yute bags? Natural, strong... You can personalize them by adding something nice on them... As an example, bag with roses:)

Very hungry Caterpillar

It's hot outside and I noticed that someone is emptying...  my freezer... on every day basis... No, not mice this time, it's someone who constantly is looking for ice creams... Someone really hungry...

Incy Wincy spider

I do not like spiders and I do not like mosquitoes even more. But for some reason mosquitoes loves me.

I found the spider which convinced me to let it stay in my house...

The only reason why I don't smack it with my slipper, is the way it deals with mosquitoes... It loves fried mosquitoes legs and flies wings - which is handy to:)

Tell me, why when it's winter we miss summer so much, but when we have a bit of heatwave, we start moaning it's too hot...?

Birthday reminder

How many times did you forget about someone's birthday, or about your wedding anniversary? I am even better... Every year I wish my best friend happy birthday a day earlier... And as a best friend, he always pretend, it is his birthday haha.
It actually inspired me to create birthday reminder. On little hanging tags add name and date. Easy? Write what do you think:)
