You and Me

As you can imagine, after making a lizard for my son, my daughter asked me to do something for her... I gave her free hand to choose whatever she likes... So she has chosen two pandas. She wanted them on a piece of wood, with the use of wood burner, paints and epoxy. Oh, I'm telling you... This girl knows what she wants.

Amber Angel

Just joking:) it's not amber, but it looks like it. Again I've been playing with fake glass, I love light reflection on it. So far two angels are done, and two more are nearly ready. Just keep checking for more.

Lizard

This time something special for special person- my son. He asked me to make him a lizard, as he absolutely loves those animals. Drawing a lizard in piece of wood was too easy, so I've made a research and found something absolutely amazing- fake glass! We have spent all day getting wood ready, polishing, sanding, cutting and making a mixture ready to fill in our project. I must say, I felt in love with fake glass. It's taking long time to dry, but it's worth to wait for it.

Stump instead window sill

Who said plants need to stand on window sill? There is many other ways to locate your plant in the house and make it beautiful decoration. Again I used a stump, polished it, burned some patterned, covered with wood paint and ready:)

Angel tealight

I had beautiful piece of birch-wood, I really didn't want to remove white and grey bits, so I just cut the top to the round shape. In the bottom bit I made a hole for a tealight. First angel is ready, but I'm thinking about three more for the better final effect on the wall. Will update you when they're ready:)

Lady pot - what to do with stump

I really wanted to do something with a stump, but what? Logs for fire? That's not creative at all. But when I thought how to make a hole in the middle of the stump, the bells started ringing in my head. Making a hole big enough to put a flower pot inside was really difficult, but once my husband saw mi struggling for an hour to make a tiny hole, he took over and finish it.
Then I add bits and pieces here and there, face, leaves, bit of colour and finally a plant with branches hanging down - to pretend hair. And there she is, let me introduce you - The Lady Pot!

Have you seen my keys?

How many times did you hear or ask this question? Keys love to play hide and seek... In the pocket, under some papers, deep at the bottom of a handbag.
From now on, three owls will keep an eye on my keys! Problem sorted - I hope:)

Into the forest part III

Last bit of my forest art, maybe not spectacular, but with the tools I had available(screwdriver and knife), I think it went pretty good. I found some old wood with roots. Roots are pretending hair, I cut shapes with a knife and nice plants supporters were ready.

Another simple and easy idea to add some colours in your garden. All you need is a branch, string and some beads. I asked my daughter to add beads on string, so she had a bit of fun creating her own project. Then we place ready branch on a tree.
